The Book
I’ve written The Episcopal letters and this Giving Tuesday, I am going to send you a copy by pledging $100!
The Screwtape Letters written by the late C.S. Lewis has become a model for satire about the current state of the Anglican Communion, especially the Episcopal Church. In my own more modest attempts I have attempted to emulate the great Lewis with my own reflections on the state of The Episcopal Church through this literary device. I began writing them in 2004 and I continue to write them to this present day.I have chosen the names Teufel and Faust as the senior and junior devil in these letters. Teufel is a devil, a creature of hell, a demon, a fallen angel from German mythology. Faust is a charlatan who makes a pact with the Devil, exchanging his soul for unlimited knowledge and worldly pleasures. I have also added a number of miscellaneous essays at the conclusion of these Episcotape letters for your reading enjoyment. More of my writings on the Anglican Communion can be read here: www.virtueonline.org and on Facebook: https://facebook.com/virtueonline/

Below are videos from advocates that appreciate Virtue Online!
His Grace Bishop Julian Dobbs, CANA Diocese of the Anglican Church in North America:
My Donation Won’t Matter
“I have only a small amount. I cannot possibly make a difference.” Do you say that the big donations are what matters? Not so! The era of big donors supporting strong Christian ministry is coming to an end. When was the last time you’ve heard of a young billionaire strongly supporting an evangelical and catholic Biblical Christianity? We have lost the rich, friends.
However we have, and always had, the people. How has the Early Church triumphed, persecuted and with hope of financial support from the Emperor, or anyone with wealth? It was you. Regular people, a world filled with them, and you. This is the magic of crowd-funding! We do not need $100; your $10 will make all the difference in the world.
I Can’t Change The System
This is your perfect opportunity to change the system. Your and my world is filled with fake news. The Episcopal Church has lavishly funded magazines; constant appearances on TV. Can you stop them? There is only one way: like for like. Magazine for magazine. News outlet for news outlet. You need someone to speak for you, when the misguided news agencies attempt to control the airwaves. This is our role. With VOL, you can make a difference.
Phil Ashey, canon theologian of ACNA, and chief executive of the American Anglican Council:
Make an Impact
Stand by VirtueOnline, as it has always, and will ever, stand by you. I have written for free, in support of orthodoxy during these last thirty five years, so that we all, our families and children, would have a future. Together we can make amazing impact in 2020!
David
